The 2022 Blue Vault Bowman Alts Week agenda is packed with incredible speakers, panel discussions, and more. Here is a small sample of the featured professionals who are contributing to this event:  

Corey Maple, Legendary Capital

Corey Maple has spent his career launching, building and selling companies. In 1993, he purchased Maier Engineering and rapidly expanded the company, increasing revenues by ten-fold. In 1996, he founded MiniMax, Inc., an automation and engineering tools provider to the electric utility industry. After merging with Powel ASA in 2005, he helped take the combined company public and subsequently helped guide its sale to a public industrial conglomerate. He founded Legendary Capital to sponsor alternative private real estate securities, primarily in the hospitality sector.

Stephanie Drescher, Apollo

Stephanie Drescher is Partner and Chief Client and Product Development Officer at Apollo, and a member of the Firm’s Management Committee. She oversees the Client and Product Solutions Group (CPS), which includes Institutional Client & Product Solutions (ICPS) and Global Wealth Management Solutions (GWMS), which seeks to expand Apollo’s investment offerings to an increasingly broad base of individual investors through a variety of global wealth management channels. Stephanie most recently served as Global Head of CPS and is also Co-Chair of Apollo Women Empower (AWE), Apollo’s women’s network. Prior to joining Apollo in 2004, Stephanie was with JP Morgan working primarily in its Alternative Investment Group.

Stephanie graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University and earned her MBA from Columbia Business School. She has served on the board of directors of the JP Morgan Venture Capital Funds I and II, JP Morgan Corporate Finance Funds I and II, JP Morgan Private Investments Inc., Allied Waste and Allen Stevenson. Stephanie is currently on the board of directors of ADT Security Services (NYSE: ADT) and the Student Leadership Network. Most recently, Stephanie joined iCapital’s Board of Observers.

Brendan Cuddihy, CAIS

Brendan Cuddihy is the Chief Operating Officer at CAIS and is responsible for overseeing Fund Operations, Client Service, and Marketing teams. Brendan is responsible for funds and investment product operations, including onboarding, integration of workflows, reporting, and investor/manager relations. In addition, he is responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of all marketing activities, including product launches, events, messaging, and thematic campaigns. He has over 8 years of experience in the asset management and financial services industry, having worked at US Bancorp and Moody’s Corporation. Brendan graduated Cum Laude with a BA in Economics and received his MBA from Marist College. Brendan holds his Series 7 and Series 63 licenses.

Anastasia Amoroso, iCapital

Anastasia Amoroso is a Managing Director and the Chief Investment Strategist at iCapital. In this role, she is responsible for providing insight on private market investing opportunities for advisors and their high-net-worth clients. Previously, Anastasia was an Executive Director and the Head of Cross-Asset Thematic Strategy for J.P. Morgan Private Bank, where she identified and invested in emerging technologies and disruptive trends such as artificial intelligence, decarbonization, and gene therapy. She also developed global tactical ideas and implemented institutional-level implementation across asset classes for clients. Anastasia regularly appears on CNBC and Bloomberg TV and is often quoted in the financial press. Prior to this, Anastasia served as a Global Market Strategist on the J.P. Morgan Funds Global Market Insights Strategy team. She also managed global tactical multi-asset portfolios and performed investment due diligence at Merrill Lynch, as well as provided consultative financial advisory services to high-net-worth families and businesses. Earlier in her career, Anastasia held several financial analysis, research, and strategic business planning positions with both private and public sector organizations. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of New Mexico and is a CFA charterholder.

Richard Hillson, Hillson Consulting

Richard is a financial services entrepreneur and an expert in the field of alternative investments. Over the course of his career, he has helped many investment advisors grow their businesses, serving as a trusted advisor and gatekeeper to quality institutional product.

Before founding Hillson Consulting, he cofounded Third Seven Capital, LLC a privately owned, boutique investment bank specializing in alternative investments and was also CEO of an RIA aggregator.

Richard is a British national who began his career at Barclays Wealth and has since worked with a variety of companies as an investor, banker, strategic advisor, and board director. He studied law at the University of Nottingham.

At Hillson Consulting, Richard’s focus is to work with advisors to improve their offerings, particularly relating to alternative investments. This involves educating advisors and their clients on this misunderstood asset class and helping them navigate access to the best of breed offerings. Richard regularly writes discussion pieces for leading publications and his educational presentations on alternative investments are CFP CE
approved. Richard has recently been asked to adapt his presentations to be a business school guest lecturer in 2021.

Joe Colavito, TREXAGAI

Joe Colavito has lived life both ways … without and with Purpose. He boldly proclaims there is no comparison. He and his partner, Dan Wilkins, started Trexagai, a boutique leadership development firm, to help others increase their leadership capacity in order to drive breakthrough performance in all aspects of their lives. Joe has delivered keynotes and training sessions for over 15,000 financial advisors. He believes advisors play a vital role because they are in the ideal position to help their clients make life decisions that will stand the test of time. Joe and Debbie recently celebrated their 32ND anniversary with their five children and two grandsons. They live in Wake Forest, NC.
